April 7, 2011

Mason High School Squad with coaches Linda Wehby and Lauren Taggart

Squads from all around this half of the country competed this past weekend in the American Cheer Power Northeast Nationals. Many local squads attended this grand event as well and a few of our own came home with a victory.

The Mason High School Competition Squad was one of these winning squads! In fact, not only did the Mason cheerleaders take 1st place in the Non-mount Varsity Division, earning a National Championship.  They won high point for the entire rec/school division; this awarded them a $250 check. They were also given the honor of best cheorography in the rec/school division. This is the 2nd year in a row that this team has taken all three titles at Cheerpower Nationals! Way to go!
