Way-to-Go Wednesday: Cheer Dad of the Year & Champion Elite Zumba Benefit

October 13, 2010

Cheer Dad from Greater Cincinnati Charms

Sorry, we dropped the ball the past few weeks on Way-to-Go Wednesday — but this week, we have two!

First, check out this cheer dad supporting his two daughters at the Greater Cincinnati Charms’ first competition at Xtreme Spirit Cincinnati. He bought a pinata, decorated it as a cheer uniform and glued a picture of one of his daughters on each side, and proudly hoisted it after their performances. Way to support your kids, dad!

Also, Champion Elite is hosting a fundraiser for breast cancer research at the end of this month: a free Zumba class where they collect donations for the Susan G. Koman Foundation. Everyone comes dressed in pink and ready for a night of fitness, fun, and awareness. Owner Alicia Wall explains: “We have an amazing mom in our gym who is overcoming her battle with breast cancer so this cause is near and dear to our hearts!”
