Meet the Squad: Glen Este High School

October 20, 2010

The Glen Este Varsity Cheerleaders had so much to say about their love for their squad and cheerleading that a lot of it woudn’t fit into a 3-minute video. They are proud of their competitive accomplishments, but even more proud of their reputation for being nice to everyone around them — and never “snotty.” They have done volunteer work for causes such as autism awareness, muscular dystrophy research and the Ronald McDonald House. They are such close friends that a few of them actually got teary-eyed at the end of the video as they talked about the end of their senior year approaching! Coach Melanie Sturgeon couldn’t be prouder of them. As one of these seniors mentioned, “Time cheering is time well spent” for the Trojan cheerleaders of Glen Este High School.

(Also, I’m so proud of my cousin Stacy! I can’t believe she’s a senior this year!)10-10 Stacy crop
